UltraTree Why? Becuase A + B = > Revenue

A: Users love trees: The tree format is a big favorite with end users because trees are both essential and so simple to use and trees make data relationships  easily understood.

B: Management loves productivity: Flatter apps increase productivity. Is there anybody who really likes navigating through a nested browse procedure maze? Unlikely. Data insertion using a tree format is quicker and easier compared to a nested browse paradigm:

Navigate to a row: Click the expand box - related records appear. Click insert - a form appears with database linkage already set up, trunk, branch and leaf.

(A + B) = > Revenue: Greater end user productivity equals happier management which, in turn, means more profit with less risk.

Simpler apps = less training = more profit with less risk.

OK - trees are great, but why an UltraTree? Doesn’t Clarion already come with a multi-table hierarchical tree? Yes, but... Here's five reasons why UltraTree is a more comprehensive solution.

  • There are three types of trees, Clarion has only one. UltraTree has the other two.

  • Compared to Clarion's multi-table hierarchical tree, the UltraTree's multi-tqble tree has more features.
  • No other tool can do the things the three UltraTree types can do.

  • Use UltraTree once, and you will use it in every application.

  • With UltraTree, you're a "Paul Bunyan." virtuoso.

UltraTree replaces linked browses with one full-featured browse that displays data users naturally comprehend, using one list and one set of controls.

Trees are fully loaded queues and sometimes the quantity of rows can overwhelm the pure hierarchical tree. UltraTree product's paging feature eliminates this issue for a tree's root section.

Paging at the top level isn't the total performance solution when the lower levels are large. UltraTree addressed this by the use of standard high perforance Clarion browses to display individual lower level row-sets within selected lower hierarchical levels.

UltraTree enables all standard browse features at every level including multi-tabbed key sorting, edit-in place capbilities, value summaries, reuse of these summaries, and immedately access to a parent row.

From its first use in 1996, UltraTree is an essential tool set to address comprehensive database problems.
